CREAMY BROCCOLI AND CHICKEN CASSEROLE
INGREDIENTS:
3 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or cubed
4 cups broccoli florets, blanched
2 cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1 Tablespoon Black Pearl’s SPGO, Original, Spicy or Natural Hickory Smoke
add salt and pepper to taste, optional
Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for topping. May also use shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese .

Prepare Ingredients: Start by cooking and shredding the chicken breast. Blanch the broccoli florets by boiling them in water for 2-3 minutes, then transfer them to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Drain and set aside.
Make the Creamy Sauce: In a medium bowl, mix together the sour cream, mayonnaise, cream cheese and SPGO of choice. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
Layer the Casserole: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a medium size baking dish, layer the cooked chicken and broccoli. Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken and broccoli, using a spatula to spread it evenly across the dish.
Add Cheese: Sprinkle shredded cheese of choice over the top of the casserole.
Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the casserole is heated through.
Serve: Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve hot, and enjoy the creamy, cheesy goodness with a side of rice, tossed salad and garlic bread.
